· Do you buy old or broken jewelry?
Absolutely. Jewelry that is gold or silver still has value regardless of the condition or wear ability of the pieces.
· How much are my old coins worth?
That really depends on what you have. We are happy to look at anything that you would like to bring in to us in either our Sioux City or Bellevue stores to give you an idea of the value. You can also use our "Ask the Expert" page on our website to send us a picture that we will respond to.
· Where are you located?
Our Sioux City store is located at 901 S Cecelia St (right behind Cecelia Park) in Morningside. Our Bellevue store is located at
438 Galvin Road North.
· Do you deal in bullion and precious metals?
Yes. We buy and sell silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
· How do I clean my coins?
The best answer is that you don't! Cleaning a coin can eliminate almost all of the value of the coin. Bring them in to us first. We can tell you whether you should clean them or whether it will hurt the value. If it is a very valuable item, there are conservation services available that we can connect you with.
· Do you deal in things besides coins?
Absolutely! Both our Sioux City and our Bellevue NE stores buy and sell a lot of things besides coins. The list includes bullion, currency, foreign coins and currency, post cards, stamps, vintage sports cards, antiques, collectibles, military items, costume jewelry and much more!
· How do I go about selling my coins (or other items)?
Just stop into either our Sioux City or Bellevue NE (Omaha) stores with your items. We will look them over and give you our offer. If you decide to sell your items, we will do a little bit of paperwork (less than 5 minutes), pay you for your items and you will be on your way! It is a very simple process!
· How long have you been in business?
John has been in the coin business for more than 30 years. He is very well known not only in the Midwest but throughout the country as he travels the coin show circuit.
· Should I clean up my items before bringing them in?
NO!!! Cleaning coins and other items can reduce their value up to 90%. Bring them in to us just as they are.
· Do you grade coins?
Yes and no. We can give you an idea of what a coin will grade or certify for, but we do not certify coins. We are authorized dealers with both NGC and PCGS though so we can send your coins in for certification for you.
