J&J Coins and Collectibles has been in the business for more than 30 years and is owned by John and Lori Jackson. We have brick and mortar stores in Sioux City, Storm Lake, Iowa and Bellevue, Nebraska.
John collected coins as a child and has grown his hobby into the current business. He has expertise in coins and currency and almost all areas of collectibles.
We pride ourselves on providing exemplary customer service with honesty and integrity. Our goal is always customer satisfaction and a returning customer.
We buy and sell coins, currency, precious metals including gold & silver bullion, antiques, military collectibles, stamps, glassware, sports memorabilia, post cards and all collectibles that are vintage. We also help with estate appraisal and disposal as well.

That really depends on what you have. We are happy to look at anything that you would like to bring in to us in either our Sioux City or Bellevue stores to give you an idea of the value. You can also use our “Ask the Expert” page on our website to send us a picture that we will respond to.

Yes. We buy and sell silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
The best answer is that you don’t! Cleaning a coin can eliminate almost all of the value of the coin. Bring them in to us first. We can tell you whether you should clean them or whether it will hurt the value. If it is a very valuable item, there are conservation services available that we can connect you with.
Absolutely! Both our Sioux City and our Bellevue NE stores buy and sell a lot of things besides coins. The list includes bullion, currency, foreign coins and currency, postcards, stamps, vintage sports cards, antiques, collectibles, military items, costume jewelry and much more!
Just stop into either our Sioux City or Bellevue NE (Omaha) stores with your items. We will look them over and give you our offer. If you decide to sell your items, we will do a little bit of paperwork (less than 5 minutes), pay you for your items and you will be on your way! It is a very simple process!

Yes and no. We can give you an idea of what a coin will grade or certify for, but we do not certify coins. We are authorized dealers with both NGC and PCGS though so we can send your coins in for certification for you.
